Rome Apples
Available Oct. 7 through Oct. 25
The best apple for baking, but also good eaten fresh & in salads.
The Rome apple has a thick bright red skin that makes a good
eating apple due to its sweet and mildly tart flavor. However, the
Rome apple is more commonly known as a cooking apple because its
flavor grows richer when it is baked or sautéed.
Closed for the season.
